As you may know, I suffered with significant health issues for more than two decades. Once I made the commitment to get well, all sorts of things I had never heard of started appearing in my life.
The physical pain, inability to get good sleep, brain fog, digestive distress, and heartbreak over being unable to truly enjoy my life, were crushing me. So it was natural that my initial attention was focused on my physical body.
Over time, I realized that there was so much more to health than I was previously considering.
I began to explore my mental, emotional and spiritual health, which has been such a fascinating journey. I’ve enhanced my health, happiness and overall life experience in ways that I could never have imagined.
There are SO many fantastic tools that have supported me on my journey!
EFT, emotion code, self-reflection, journaling, movement, talking to others, reading, family constellating, and attending retreats and workshops have all supported me on my path over the last 10+ years.
I believe that the world of self-actualization is expanding in a way that hasn’t previously existed. I’m constantly exposed to people, programs, and methods for expanding my mind, body and health, way above and beyond what was available when I started my journey.
I am, and will always be, a work in progress. I am insatiably curious about how to become the best version of myself in body, mind and soul.
I recently attended a 1-day bio integration intensive with Kole & Tah Whitty in Austin, TX. What drew me to fly halfway across the country to be with these amazing facilitators was a deep resonance and drive to explore how any perceived trauma at any time in my life might still be held within my body, impacting my health and ability to live my life fully and freely. I was drawn to learning new ways to release anything I’ve been unknowingly and unintentionally carrying around, and continue the expansion of my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
And I’m happy to say, it was well worth my time and efforts!
There are areas of my body that always feel tight, and they are softening. I feel lighter, happier and more connected to my intuition. I am more forgiving of people and situations that I’ve been holding onto, some for an entire lifetime.
I am more alert and aware of the beauty around me. I am being gentler with myself, easing up on the constant pressure I always subject myself to in order to get things done. I’m way more interested in hearing others’ opinions and gaining a wider variety of perspectives. My heart feels open.
If I could deliver all of that to you, I would do so in a heartbeat. But I know that we all have our unique paths to travel, and that we must choose to put in the work, as it calls to us, to achieve our own greatest aspirations.
I share my journey with you as inspiration. If my words resonate with you, know that you are being called to explore what that means for you.
My greatest desire is that you will attune to the small voice that speaks from within yourself. Follow your own heart and step into what calls to you, especially when you have fear or thoughts that you can’t, shouldn’t, or don’t deserve to.
Life is short and you are worthy of experiencing all of your deepest desires, no matter how much you’ve been taught to believe otherwise.
